Which vaccine is it that is FDA approved?

The fact that the FDA does not regulate vitamins does not make them useless or harmful. The FDA is not exactly the pinnacle of science, after all.

The FDA just approved an Alzheimer's medication that has never even been confirmed to do anything. I saw a commercial for it this weekend. "we don't know what this does or how it works but we think it does this..."

I mentioned in my last update that I scheduled the heart procedure to hopefully fix my heart and take any stress off it that a vaccine may cause. I had to go into work and cancel my vacation time over Christmas and change it out for the week of Thanksgiving. This was odd to my boss as I always take Christmas week off. I explained my situation to him....but shouldn't have. I said getting this procedure done will lessen the effects of the vaccine on my heart, if I end up having to get it.

This morning an unvaccinated coworker came up to me and asked if I was ok. I said "what"? He told me that our boss just told him that I was getting a heart procedure done specifically so that I will be healthy enough to get the vaccine, and that if I can do it so could he. The boss then told that employee that he had scheduled him an appointment to get the vaccine.

Why is my boss talking to others (and misinforming them) about my medical situation? It's not cool and likely illegal.

Yeah, that's lawsuit material right there, IMO.

Again, just sayin, but by the same logic just because the fda hasn't officially approved the vaccine does not make it useless or harmful either.

The fda is not exactly a pillar of science. That pillar is obviously the internet and it's long list of peer approved opinion pieces.

I haven't counted, because that would feel morbid, but just in this thread alone it certainly feels like more people directly connected to this community have experienced more negative effects and personal loss from the virus than the vaccine. There is some of both for certain, but has anyone we know of actually died or had a major reaction from the vaccine without underlying issues? Why are the people with underlying issues that may increase their risk of vaccine reaction labeled as victims of government over reach, while people with the same underlying "comorbidities" that lead to severe illness or death from covid are vilified as fat/lazy/unhealthy and should have lead a more healthy lifestyle before?

This is a completely honest question. For you guys with underlying heart ssues. Knowing what we know(and dont know) today, If you could hypothetically choose between having the vaccine or having covid, what would you choose?

I've had both. COVID for me was a cold, the vaccine nearly killed me. For others that's not true. I think everyone has a different story of the pandemic, and I truly think they are all valid.

Where the government overreach plays in to it is when someone is required to take a medicine (the MRNA) that has been deemed unfit for widespread human testing in the past.

If the science is correct the only person at risk in the workplace is the unvaccinated person, and I take responsibility for that. I've been exposed 3 times in the last month. All vaccinated. I take steps to protect myself and have been fine.

You said I'm taking a full tote of non FDA approved supplements in order to avoid taking an FDA approved vaccine. If the vaccine does what you're implying, I'd be happy to toss that entire tote full of bottles in the garbage since the vaccine will negate those "supplements" it sure would be nice to not have to worry any longer about:

My cholesterol.

My Sycamore allergy.

My esophagus clamping down on any food thicker than pudding and trying to drown me in my own saliva.

My wife's blood getting thicker than molasses and causing Deep Vein Thrombosis or embolisms.

Low vitamin D, B2, and C levels in both of us.

A handful of other mild issues.

It's nice to know that these vaccines will eradicmate my need for "supplements" even though our family Dr suggested all of them except the vitamin D.

I wasn't questioning the efficacy of vitamins or supplements, your need for them, or even calling you out specifically. Just that a lot of people have used the fda as an excuse why they won't get the vaccine while also taking lots of things that are also not fda approved or even regulated. Some people demand regulation when it's convenient for their position, but not when it's not. I wouldn't be me if I didn't call out how that doesn't make sense. Ask me about the duality of liquor laws too

But just because a technology wasn't fully tested before, doesn't mean a few billion dollars and a few thousand relatively educated and well intentioned scientists from a few hundred countries working together and sharing information can't potentially make significant progress in a relatively short period of time. Time will ultimately tell all I suspect.

I disagree. He is kind of independent and has a huge audience. That makes him pretty important in my opinion. He can poke the establishment in a way we don't see these days. The horse de-wormer thing is a good example of this. He can call the liars what they are and a lot of people hear it.

I agree with most of what you said. But he still gate keeps a lot. I was 50% joking in my comment, if the joke about his height didn't give it away.
He introduced me to Graham Hancock and I've blown through a few of his books... really good stuff.

Currently getting over my second bout of Covid. Wife brought it home from work where she caught it from somebody that is vaccinated.

Kind of pissed me off because this vaccinated person was not required to do any kind of "quarantine" after their spouse got sick and so brought it into work and got several people sick. But anybody that is not vaccinated is required to do all kinds of isolation and quarantine.

Luckily it's been very mild for us since we both had it previously.
