Well that's awesome news!

...Unfortunately I have some bad news to go with it. And you guys are going to hate me for it, haha.
Two or three weeks ago, my brother was in town and we took the 4Runner out to go shooting. On the way back, black ice -

I lost the back end on a slight curve thanks to the black ice and couldn't correct it before the front end left the road.
The back end kept coming around and the front passenger tire caught suddenly, causing 3/4 of a roll.
We were both wearing our seatbelts and came out of it almost without a scratch, but the truck wasn't quite so lucky.
We eventually got it spun around with my winch, flipped it back on its tires with the tow truck's winch, and got it loaded without much trouble.
It started up pretty easy the next morning, and it drives well too. But it looks like something in the front end might be tweaked slightly and I doubt I'd get a pass on safety anymore, haha.

I haven't had much time to dig into it after being out of town for the holidays, so I'm not sure what the plan is yet.
It would still make a pretty awesome door-less, top-less, Summer trail rig, but the lack of a trailer and tow rig makes that tricky, haha.
I feel bad that everybody went to so much work to save it, and now this... But what are you gonna do, you know?

Anyway, I'm sure the video is going to bring a good amount of traffic back to this thread, so I just want to say Thanks Again Guys!! You're awesome!

But stuck more often.
Had we known this was going happen, we could have rolled it down the hill instead of rescuing it. Dang! That would have been so cool to see. Glad you're ok.

Brian, I heard your comments on the video blaming both me and Toyota for the stuck rig. I'm not sure I can continue editing after hearing such blasphemy. :D

Sucks the runner is now wrecked but glad you're ok.

Why would we hate you for rolling your rig….some of us do it often :D

time to start cutting stuff off and wheeling it harder!
