I posted in the general forum. I want to here from someone who has done this or know a way to register a jeep for on road that is registered as an OHV.

The DMV said once a vehicale is licensed for offroad it can never be licensed for on road. My ? is has anybody gotten around this by registering it out of Ut. then back in Ut.

Okay. I was thinking that would be best, but I heard you can't swap the 4.0 into a v6 XJ. I don't know why you couldn't though.

I want to get some opinions on a motor swap. I have an 88 XJ with a fuel injected 4.0 auto, and a 86 with a 2.8 v6 manual. Should I put the 4.0 in the 86 or go bigger like 5.2 or chevy 350? The 86 is in alot better shape so I'd like to use it to build on.

Will an 89 YJ gear box bolt up to an 89 XJ both 6cyl? TIA

Yes. I may be dumb but I'm not an idoit :rolleyes: . It just feels like it's locked in low range not in AWD. I'll try these things and see if that fixes it. Thanks. :D

My parents have a 94 ZJ V8 all time 4 wheel drive with about a 5" lift and 31" tires. It has developed a very strange noise and with the noise comes a jerking feeling when turning either way. All this seems to be coming from both the front and the rear, it all most feels like it's in 4 low but...

just got back I just got back from Moab and now I'm ready to wire the trailer. It hasn't been to bad just the left blinker dosen't work when the running lights are on. I need to get it done tonight so I can get my Jeep to Brandon.

I just picked up an 18' trailer with brakes on both axles, but I need some help wiring it all up. The wires that are there actually look pretty good but it aint working (yes the bulbs are good). So I'll supply the beer or sprite if someone can give me a hand. I know someone likes free beverages.

I think I've got some 2" lift springs for a WJ somewhere in my garage, I'll check.

B as in Brandon at Anarchy? Yea I'm waiting for him to get back, I still owe him some money and a case of a cold beverage. I should have had him do it while he was doing the axles. I'm thinking about maybe just cutting the tera arms and sleeving a peice of pipe over them to make them what ever...
