For Sale - Best Offer 1998 Jeep Cherokee

*~*~*~* SOLD *~*~*~* 1998 Jeep Cherokee, Sport model, 4.0L, automatic, 4WD. Rubicon Express 3.5" lift was installed 5 years ago. Tires are 31" Big-O, and have about a little over half tread life remaining. I always kept regular intervals of 4000 miles on the oil changes. Last year I did a...

    Anyone know anything about chickens?

Yeah Right!!! If you need a duplicate of that, I'm certain anyone on this forum could duplicate that within a matter of 2 minutes!

    Question

I thought person-to-person sales were OK as long as both parties were in the same state. I thought if one was an out of state, it needed to go through an FFL.

    Fiberglass help

I'm kind of digging the fiberglass over expanded metal idea. 3/4" exp. metal isn't nearly as heavy as you must be thinking Scott. It's 90% open area. 3/4" #9 expanded metal only weighs 1.8 lbs/sf. Sure, it's thicker than the original roof. But I'll bet that weight-wise, it's not too far off...

    Possible RTT custom build.....

I can fully respect that. If I could get away with 6'x7', I'd probably do the same thing. Ironically, we've really been thinking of scrapping the RTT altogether and just getting a 10'x10' Kodiak tent. I really like them. Plus with a roof rack we "may" be able to not need a trailer at all...

FYI, Mombasa RTT on KSL for $150.

Not mine, just passing along info. Under the tent trailer section. I know some are looking... That is all.

    Possible RTT custom build.....

There are other factors than just buying something and making it work, at least for me. Space at my house is at a premium. I don't really have the room for more trailers. Plus the desire to have a custom sized RTT rather than try to live with what is currently available. Ideally though, I...

    Possible RTT custom build.....

Kurt pretty much hit all my reasons. I already have an older tent trailer. It weighs in at 2400# empty. Loaded with enough water for a few days, a cooler or two since I don't have a fridge, clothing, cooking equipment, sleeping bags, etc., I'm probably pushing 3000# loaded for my family of...

    Possible RTT custom build.....

Jason: Thanks for that link. I've been scouring that site a lot and missed that one. Definitely some good ideas on there as far as the tent goes. Brian: I may have to take you up on that offer some time. BTW, cup check Shane for me! :D Scott: Yeah, the single-flip design lends itself...

    Possible RTT custom build.....

Let me preface this by saying that I have not fully thought out this idea, so most of this will seem like random dribble, but please throw out any ideas anyway.:D I'm looking for the largest RTT available. So far, it looks like the Ezi-Awn Series 3 Family Tent 1200 is the largest...

    Self-recovery gear questions

These Ebay ones are simply just fiberglass grating. May be worth checking into it and seeing if you could source something similar locally. We buy all our grating from Grating Systems ~ 801-364-0102. They are in Ogden, but I'm sure there are others in the SLC area, not that Ogden is really...

My ten year run has come to an end.

It's actually refreshing to see an "I got a ticket" thread without the original poster citing he knew he was in the wrong but felt he didn't deserve it for whatever various reason. Sucks about the ticket, but sounds like your attitude is in the right place being grateful you got off as...

    Quality EZ-Up style canopy?

I'm not a fan of the EZ-UP ones. I've had 3 of them get the scissor system bent up beyond repair due to light to moderate winds. This probably doesn't help you though, but I'd look at something different if it were me.
