Just curious, but what are your favorite resteraunts that you all like to go to? I'm not talking Wendy's or McDonalds. Sit down, nice resteraunts. I'm looking for something new that the girly and I can go to.

Here's some that I like.

Z Tejas
Rivers
Carvers
Ruby River

Applebee's and Chili's type places are good, same with Olive Garden.

But, what are some places that not everyone might know about that are really good? Lets see what you got! :)

I'll second Market Street, if you're in the mood for food that swims. Q4U if you want BBQ, 4700 south, and 4800 West. Honk as you pass my place (don't shoot). ;)

If you want to take kids somewhere they'll like, go to the Mayan. The foods not that good, but the kids love the place. Took my little bro there last week.

Love the place. Great chileverde. The bummer is that with the changes in liquer laws last year the really good margaritas(Mexican Cadilacs) are a thing of the past. Still worth going for the food.

market street broiler has the best seafood in the state, the price is a little high, but it is cheaper than flying to Main for good lobster.

yeah, Melina's isn't the best Mexican in the world, but it's cheap and local, and the shredded beef stuff is big and meaty, so how can I go wrong LOL

beats La Frontera any day
