I’ve always appreciated the risks that French car designers are willing to take. Sometimes you get undeniably beautiful cars like the Alpine A110's, and sometimes you get a Renault Avantime. But you can rarely say that French cars are boring.

The English, French, Italians and Spanish either do autos/ motos well or terribly. There is no in between.

While this design was tragically horrific when launched, it's aged pretty well. There's a ton of ugly cars on the road now.

The point is American and Japanese mfgs make lots of mediocre cars.
Ex. Buick LeSabre or The Biege Toyota Camry.

International Metros were a thing for a little while, I haven't seen too much about them lately.

I know a guy that put a Metro body on a S-10 chassis and all sorts of other bells and whistles. It’s sweet.
