Close enough! Especially if you had any breeze at all. I spent a half day yesterday hiking around in the snow trying to get pictures of critters. It was nippy!
How deep was the snow, generally, south of 70? I'm thinking of heading down around The Roost for an overnighter next weekend.

That's worse than one of JLRockies trip reports.

Most.of.it was about 8" of snow. There were stretches with no snow, and bear copper globe mine it was over 2 feet deep.
I'd assume less in the roost.
