Pulling leafs to lower a Rig

I run them on the front of my 86 Yota and have a winch, blah blah blah. I removed the bottom leaf after I did the SAS and have not put it back in (actually it's an AAL on my 2WD Taco now) They sit near flat after a year and a half and flex rexl good IMO. I have a 1.5" drop hanger and...

    DIY Beadlocks

 Nope, that guy was my bro-in-law. He tends to burn bridges and guess what? He did it again :ugh: Oh well, $375 for 5 sets of locks to my door IMO is a great deal.

    Tire Pressure Gauges

Is there any out there that are consistant? I have std. ones, digital ones cheap slide ones, gauge style ones med. priced ones. None seem to give the same reading. Of all the std. slide style seem to be to most consistant between the three I have, but suck ass at low psi IMO. Slide style read...

    DIY Beadlocks

They were royal blue, but my wife told me how gay that looked, so out came the hammerite grey.

    DIY Beadlocks

Got a set from Bobby Long (Longfields) last week. They are pretty typical in the DIY lock department. Thing I liked about them over others is the inner ring sit inside the wheel lip and not on the outside edge, and it has a 1/4-3/8" ring around it to prevent the outer ring from coning in much...

Best Out of the Box Wheeler...(bang for the buck)

D90 cuz they're cool as fawk! Otherwise I'd go with a Rubicon since I have never had a Jeep and had 5 or 6 Toyota's (even though a SC'ed Taco would be fun)

    rock sliders

I had 2x4x1/8 sliders on my toyota years ago with 2x2x1/8 legs and they held up okay. A friend is running them still and they are not beat up to bad. Switch to a set of round 1.5x1/8 sliders and dented the piss out of them (round tube less than 0.25 sucks on sliders IMO) Now I went back to...

    Axle swapping time???

I would do a 44 up front to gain width, strength, etc. Rear I would consider 9" before a 8.8. My $0.02

    A few Midwest wheelin pics

Yeah it is. A V6 would be great for my rig, but the expense is something I'm not up for. I know I know. It's still in the plans, just not sure when. Bills are paid and now we are saving up green to make it even easier.

    A few Midwest wheelin pics

Went a new park this weekend. Closest wheelin to me now, less than 2 hours. 250~ acres and it has been started, but plans are for a lot more I hear. What we hit in this short day didn't even come close to all the trails. Nothing great, but a good mix, and when it's wet, it's tough and MTR's...

    Leaf Spring Issues

Well I was wrong. I do have wrap in the rear :squint: Among other things I actually need to fix on my truck over the winter I am leaning towards adding a trac bar for now even though it will require more work since I have to make a crossmember as well. Time to start researching what works...

    Dana 60 Question

You won't find a stock 35 spline int he width you want. IMO buy a FW 60, narrow it, and 9" big bearing ends on it and by some 35 spline shafts in the lug pattern you desire. My $0.02
