I mounted mine so the garage door just missed it when it closed, and in the middle of the opening. I wouldn't mount it directly in the middle unless your garage is huge. I have an aussie in the front of my landcruiser. I have 39 irocks and around 160:1 crawl ratio, I busted a chromoly birf and inner and nothing happened to the aussie. I would run one again anytime. Tony

You could get the Tacoma through it pretty easy, it is just a nice drive, but there are alot of branches hanging down in the trail that will scratch you paint up pretty good.
