I have a 92 XJ I was told when I bought it that it had a 2 inch lift, and it does sit higher than stock and fits 31's, but everyone that has looked at it says it is stock. I would like it to sit just a little higher. But it is a Daily driver, and kid hauler so I need a few more inches...

It could be the TPS, (throttle position sensor) The trans relys on the TPS to tell it alot of info on when to shift, that could be some of the trans issue, or your trans is bad- My XJ trans started slipping really bad, and the TPS fixed it- Now your Zj is a different animal, but you never know...
