Let's talk about the Biden family problem.

I appreciate your view and you taking the time to type that out. The one thing I'd rebut with is the fact that the democrat media machine is what has actually stoked most of the doom and gloom. The media is responsible for the "He's never wrong", fear and anger. If you don't believe me, which side is it that's burning down buildings? Which side is it that organizes actually peacefully? You have thousands show up armed at state capitols to show their support for the Constitution and nothing bad happens. You then have the media inflate an issue with a guy on fentynal and you have buildings burn and people kicked to the curb. Which is it? Did Trump do that? I don't think so man...

He hasn't made me angry at all. Most of everybody I talk to who supports Trump are very kind and intelligent people who just want their country to succeed. None of them are racist. Which side is trying to fan that flame again?

What he has done is show me that there are people in high places that are willing to sell out the American people for profits and evil deeds.
He's shown me that America has been sold out the China over the years. If that's not obvious, take a look at everything in your house. Where was it made?
He's shown me that the establishment is even more corrupt that I originally thought. These politicians are all blackmailed and are playing by a script. I'm kind of astonished that most people can't see this now.

Anyhow, good. I'm glad the image of the Republican party is changing, because for the last couple decades the party has just been there to help shift the Overton Window for the Democrats. "We don't support XYZ but we won't do anything about it".... few years later: "We support XYZ". It's been damn shame. Republicans have had zero backbone for far too long. But that's because of bunch of them are blackmailed too. What do you think Epstein's role in this world really was? Time to pull out that conspiracy theorist card I guess.
That had nothing to do with that senators race and everything to do with her disdain of America. Plain and simple.
"Some people did something..."
Pure B.S. on that one. Recognize racism and hate when it is blatant.

Again, I know this thread is about Biden's ( ) family but @Houndoc did you know that as of 2015 Trump employed 22,500 people?

Were he a different man who passed your moral code test, would that be decent experience from a leadership perspective? Taking into consideration the business side, the economic side, and both dealing with growth and stagnation, which comes in business. Oh, he's also had to deal with some form of government for years. And, he's got lots of legal experience... haha.

If you want to talk about Trump's business dealings, don't forget the multiple bankruptcies, which hurt lots of small businesses and the very questionable, if not illegal, tax evasions.

Listen to Rudy discuss what's on Hunters hard drive...

I have zero trust in anything Rudy says. About the least reliable source you could find.

Here's the problem with that... you're wrong. She's made some very serious statements about her hatred for the US. How she's in the position that she's in with those views is very suspect to me and a lot of people. We happen to be judging her by character and not skin color. To think otherwise is just plain stupid and plays into the current "PC" push of not questioning anything that a "POC" says or does.

Screw that shit. I will question anything that any person of any color or lack there of does or says if I want. Why? Because freedom.

Let me guess...They shipped the original documents and didn't think to make copies.
Someday maybe documents could be "scanned" and then magically show up in email on the other side of the country. What a world that would be! Maybe if we get out best and brightest on it we could be sending documents this way in another 20 years...

I always find these stories (no matter who tells them) funny. How would someone know what is in the package, or have any indication? I letter envelope, which i assume it would've been magically gets opened and all contents are gone. They paint it out like it's some conspiracy and somehow the "other side" found out and was able to get their operatives to intercept it.

Add if the other side wouldn't assume there were copies and they somehow pulled off a major heist.

It feeds those that believe there are some major conspiracies going on but is most likely not even true.

I'm not talking about Trump's business dealings re-election. I understand he used the laws to his advantage...however I'm sure he bent the rules pretty substantially in the past as well. I do feel he's pushed limits and likely done illegal activity while in office.

Maybe it isn't illegal, maybe it is. I'm guessing it may be one of those things that comes out later..I am not sure...but I find it very unethical that he was constantly having the Secret Service stay at his hotels and properties while conducting .gov business. His family is claiming various resorts as "homes" I find that shady. I'm guessing much more incidents will come out about how he directed funds to his private enterprise...which is very shady

The Obama administration was illegally spying on the Trump campaign. The Obama administration sold illegal guns, illegally to the Mexican drug cartels. Those are not intricate or complex political arguments. They lied on applications to FISA warrants and they sold guns to foreign nationals on US soil. What kind of mental gymnastics does a person have to perform to vote for the #2 candidate in that administration because they have a hunch, not proven in spite of an all out war on Trump, that he did illegal shit in the face of undeniable proof that Biden actually did illegal shit?

The cult of personality is real.
It seems even on RME, there is a group of people that prefer to have a political class, that speaks double talk and robs us blind because it is more sophisticated and less divisive. I can't wrap my head around that.

My main issue is 2A, imagine that. Candidates can do a lot of things as long as I am able to stop them at my door or neighborhood when they try and overstep my personal physical freedom.

In case you didn't read the link Spork posted, in Biden's gun safety plan, it would be a crime to allow access to a firearm by a minor, even if they minor doesn't actually access it. So if you own a gun and have a minor in your house, EVER, you are a criminal. Maybe you're an optimist and you think that is unlikely to ever make it to law, that is possible. However, Harris has stated multiple times that she would give congress 100 days to ban "assault weapons" and then she would do it through executive order.

I can't imagine hating Trump so badly that I was willing to vote in a person that has openly, publicly said they will take your 2A rights. Especially when all the things I hated him for were not actual policy but personality traits.

As I said before, there are aspect of both party platforms I strongly disagree with. But the two issues that garner the most passion, abortion and guns, are ones that president has historically had limited influence.

Republicans have held the presidency for 60% of the time since Roe v Wade and although abortion rates have fallen dramatically over the last 35 or so years, the Courts have held firm.

Gun rights and gun ownership are actually the most secure they have been, again based on Supreme Court rulings and no significant gun legislation as been passed by Congress in over 25 years, despite Democrats holding the White House for the majority of that time. It does not mean that we should be complacent, but it also means that using that as a single issue vote for president may not be the most logical.

So considering other issues, both policy and broader issues of "personality traits" and their effects on the country is a pretty reasonable plan.

Glenn Greenwald has submitted his resignation to the news outlet (The Intercept) that he co-founded because the parent company is censoring his reports on Biden. Wow.

The final, precipitating cause is that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.

The censored article, based on recently revealed emails and witness testimony, raised critical questions about Biden’s conduct. Not content to simply prevent publication of this article at the media outlet I co-founded, these Intercept editors also demanded that I refrain from exercising a separate contractual right to publish this article with any other publication.

It's all just a "conspiracy"...

'The reason it's disappeared is because the CIA from the very first days of the Trump administration, even before he was inaugurated, devoted themselves to sabotaging the inauguration because Donald Trump questioned a few of their pieties and that can't be done in Washington.

'So the CIA and the deep state operative became heroes of the liberal left, the people who support the democratic party. They are now in a full union with the neocons and the Bush Cheney operatives, the CIA, silicon valley and Wall Street.

'That is the union of power, along with along with mainstream media outlets, that are fully behind the democratic party which is likely to at least take over one branch of government, if not all of them, in the coming election and that's a very alarming proposition because they are authoritarian, they believe in censorship and suppression of information that exposes them in any kind of a critical light.'

I re-read 1984 last year just as a refresher on current events. It's not really conspiracy anymore, it's blatantly being done in the open. Jack Dorcey saying that he doesn't believe twitter has the ability to influence elections it a straight up FU to the American public. Makes me happy to have avoided the dumpster fire that is twitter.

LMAO. Wow that isn't conspiracy at all. 🤣.

I am not a Democrat and dislike most policies they put forth but come on. Wall Street, Bush/Cheney, Deep State all in bed with people who support the Democratic party? That is about as "conspiracy" as you can get.

If you want to argue how the Democratic platform's spending on social programs will bankrupt the country or how their supporting Pro-Choice is wrong because fetus' are people too....fine. that's a difference of opinion and is understandable....but to argue there is some conspiracy that involves people from the past 16 years until now is all somehow teaming up to conspire against Trump...that's just ridiculous.

This, right here is the problem with America. The "my side is right and you aren't on it so therefore you are a x" whether the x be racist, xenophobe, socialist, communist, fascist, etc. Why can't people just differing opinions and have different ideas on how to solve most of the problems facing America?
