I did more wheelin this year than I ever have before. It was a good year. Highlight was of course Top Truck Challenge. Being in the magazine a bunch was cool. I went to the Snakes for the first time this year. Been there 4 times already! Like LT said... Moab was awesome. The Scout was barely running but it was a great time. It will be really hard to top this year for me, as far as wheeling in concerned.

As for me, I'm pretty ugly. So I shyed away from the camera. I had a few good trips this year. I built a rig that was a mag feature ect. ect. ect. So I did a lot.

My goals for 09:

1. Get my rig street legal in Utah at the same time as making it as capable as it's ever been.
2. Spot my wife driving my rig through a trail for her first time.

No, totally staged. There were a bunch of tracks leading into that mine. I thought I'd back up and see if my Jeep would fit. Turned out kinda cool.

Things are changin up for 2009. My goal is to get out enough to have fun, and explore more of SU, mainly in the swell area.. I've loved the time i spent there in 2008. More over, just do some trips with good friends, that's what i love most. Oh, and another goal is to pic up a used D40 so that I can start getting in to photography more with some better equipment.

Good choice. My friend had a D40 and recently got a D90. Both are fantastic cameras.

Since I only got to wheel my rig once in 2008 and didn't have a camera, this is the only shot from that day (and the only pic from all of 2008 besides build pics), and this was caused by not replacing a zip tie holding an upper rad hose away from a pulley. Lots more wheeling planned for 2009.

My plan/hope for this year is to get my '75 Cummins project done, but that may be asking a lot.

Personally, don't think I have any great wheeling shots this year. Too little trail time (fixing that seems to be a common goal.)

However, can't complain since I had my Nome, AK trip. That was enough fun to make up for what I missed.
