No the one they gave me was non re-directional, it was counter clockwise only the new 3 spd was re-directional and it had 2 seperate wires that you could switch. Anyways it all worked out.

Yeah I don't think there would be any issues and TONS of manufacturers that make bumpers are using the spindles.

what if you are going to put it over just plain plywood. I have a utility trailer with plywood walls and I was thinking about using it on the plywood to seal it from rot and make it more durable.
