    81 chevy 4x4 swap

I think the easiest (cleanest)way but a little more money. Is remove all the 2wd suspension and crossmember. Pick up ORD's 4x4 crossmember/motor mounts. This gives plenty of clearance for everything without having to have a tall lift. Add a pair of spring hangers and shackle hangers. You can get...

    Quick Removable Jeep Windshield

I did this on my CJ. Just cut the stock pins at the 2 seams. Then flapper wheel the ends to get rid of the weld. Knock out the pieces. I just used a bolt to hold them together afterwards.

    DJ traction bar brackets

I did a 2 point traction bar on my last CJ-7 with fullwidth chevy axles and FLAT YJ rear springs. But I had the shackle mounted at a steep angle and the bar mount on the axle leaned back a bunch. This set up was for all drop not much up travel.Did it limit the articulation?Probably, but I stilll...

    Axle Wrap bars

Here's a pic of mine not installed. I used bushing at the axle.Cheaper and no reason to have hiems there. And a hiem at the short shackle which is mounted above the crossmember to help keep it up and out of the way.

    Will I be to high?

Like I was telling you.Skip the XJ springs and run stock YJ's.Heavy duty 6 leave.Or you could use the waggy fronts. Then fab your own hangers and put them where you want them to get the stretch you want. You will need tube fenders or atleast cut the fronts flat to clear 40's.Rear will need...
