    Mikes First Yota Build

First off thank you to Steve for being a wrenching, rig swapping ball of awesomenss. I read Steves first build up thread about a year ago (the Pickup build for those of you who cant keep track of his ADD). I was blown away by his little truck. I had just bought a 1987 Samurai, loved it, but I...

    Samurai Diff

I bought a spartan locker and had it installed but the guy who installed it left in the shims. I think what the guys at lowranger were talking about were the carrier shims. How hard is it to get the shims out? I have to pop the axels, drop the driveline and pull the diff I know that much from...

    8v Cold Start Issue

I have a sammy that I just got an 8v fuel injected engine put into and I have the worst time getting it started in the mornings. I know sammys are cold blooded, but, does anyone have any idea or fix to make it go from a 5-10 minute ordeal to a nice 1-3 minute experience? Thanks Mike

I found a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer V8 with less than 100000 miles, no rust, semi regular maintanence and an 850 dollar price tag. Is it worth it? Even as a parts car could I get my money back for it?

    Engine Swap Samurai

The 1.3 will not stop spitting oil. Ive replaced the oil pan and oil pump gaskets and Im getting a little bogged down by the hang up. So I figure why beat this to death when I can just replace or upgrade? I have 2500-3000 for an engine swap(thats giving up more upgrades until next year). What...

    Samurai Blues

I have three problems. 1) I just replaced the brake lines and brake cylinders and I keep leaking brake fluid. Im curious to know how tight I should make the fittings? I have them pretty tight but I could go more. Should I go until its difficult with hand tools? 2) After replacing the breaks...
