Howdy all. Dave from West Haven. Occasionally on expoUT forum, and after meeting a few of you out at FYOY14, thought I'd join here as well to keep up on runs & events. I have an 06 that I bought new in 07. Mostly as a midsize replacement 4x4 for work & errands. Then found out it wheeled pretty decently, and off on a steady build of upgrades since then. First installed a PRG products advanced coilover kit (radflo coilovers, rear shocks, UCA's, AAL's) for 2.5" lift and a greatly improved ride and wheel travel. Had that for a good 5 years of hard use, whild building and adding full armor, bumpers, etc. Pretty much taxed the suspension out with weight and hard use. Coilovers wore out along with UCA's needing uniballs & heims, so...

Pictures to come, but this is the new money pit. Got a 14 bolt full floater in the rear, with a Dana 44 up front. Has the 5.7l vortec. needs the front drive line extended and installed, needs some gears, badly with the 37's, and hoping to get some new shoes on her, as well as an ARB in the rear, build some sliders, and try to figure out some bumpers. i have tried, for at least a minute, and didn't see any bumpers i liked, but this is my first 'Merican Truck, I've always been a yota man. anyway, if you have any input or advice, bring it on. hoping to make this into a daily driver/ tow rig for coco/ light wheeling rig. pictures to come...

Hey all, ZPower here. So long story short, I sold my sweet 96 ZJ to help purchase my all-time favorite Jeep: The TJ Unlimited. I picked up a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 101,000 miles on the ticker. It's not a Rubicon, so it has a Dana 30 up front and a Dana 44 out back. I actually preferred the non-Rubicon because I wanted to put Detroit Truetracs in both axles (and I am NOT keeping the factory trash-lock in the rear), plus the people who were selling the Rubicons were on crack when it came to resale value. I am not paying $7,000 more for a different front axle and some air lockers. Plus, I have a fondness for the Dana 30. It's kind of like the underdog of the axle world. Alrighty, down to the nitty gritty stuff! First...

So as some of you know I picked up a 5.9 Grand Cherokee and have been trying to get it ready for the trail. The lift has been placed on it, a 4" Rough Country long arm. I still need to scratch up tires for it and do some touch up work but it's pretty much ready for some use. I really need to scratch up some 32~33's to toss on it.

Picked this up after selling my truck, I have family that is huge into the POW/MIA organization ( biker club) and so im not going to crawl or beat on this. I hope to just clean it up and make it a memorial to all the soldiers that may be lost but not forgotten. As I am an Veteran as well i hope to tastefully build this jeep to honor our Military! It has the 305 small block 31 inch tires roll bar and that sums it up. the to do list: body work all the dents and paint CB radio POW/MIA flag and Army Flag in the back ( for parades and shows only) polish and clean up the engine for show not go and to top it off the big black general star on the hood and rear
