Can anyone direct me to a shop in town that works on Suzuki Samurai or Toyota differentials? I need some work done on mine and not sure who to call. Thanks in advance, Terry

    sami spring options

I run YJ's all around. They seem to be the best all around spring choice for a SPOA Sammie. I know some run CJ springs in the rear and Sammie rears up front. Toy springs are really long and require more extensive fab work than YJ's. Rotozuk on the Pirate board ran Toy springs on his rig...

    stearing box

91 Toyota what? I think the IFS truck box will work and many guys have good luck with the FJ60 box. Either take substantial fab work. There is an excellent thread on Zuwaharrie bbs on an FJ60 install: http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/topic,19902.0.html I use an older Celica box which works...

    Wheel question for Zuks.

I run 2.5 inch Rockcrawler steel wheels from Spidertrax on my YJ SPOA Zuk. It was necessary for me to run 33 x 12.5 tires with the wider YJ springs without rubbing. I don't know about 31 x 10.5's and stokc springs though. http://www.spidertrax.com/drivetrain_whl.htm

    axle questions

That adds up to $2,732 Samizook and I'll wager you can weld and fab on your own and were able to make the perches, shock mounts, hangers, etc. to make this swap fly. Jeff has said he can't do that himself so you have to figure how much Von or JR or whoever is going to charge him to make a D44...

    axle questions

Alright, since someone dropped the big $$ bomb and because of Jeff's admitted lack of fab skills, this is what I suggest he spend the $3500 on: Trail Tough "Big Rear End". Sidekick pumpkin, DOM tubes, Ford axles, gears and ARB for $1750 Trail Tough "Big Suzana". Sidekick pumpkin, DOM...

    axle questions

According to Jeff Cardall, he is already running upgraded Calmini cro-mo shafts in the stock housings. Apparently he damaged his rear sidegears and started this whole thread because of that.

    axle questions

One more thing, I wouldn't sweat the axle width thing, this Zuk is on Toyota axles: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=1684655#post1684655 You just need to choose the right rim offset.

    axle questions

Jeff, You can break anything, even with a 1.3 zuk, if you try hard enough. DSI on the Pirate board, has D60s under his 1.3 zuk and he TWISTED the shafts!! As far as affordablility and ease, it depends on what you are comfortable with and the connections you have. Toyotal axles are similar...

    Samuria front bumper?

I built my own (out of 2x6 stock:D ) and used the stock lights. I found some great looking bumpers, but decided I could do it myself for a he!! of alot less. These are some nice ones, I think: http://www.trailtough.com/armor.htm (especially the "Stinger") and...

    Ms. conceptions motor sports

You may be right; Amigo, Rodeo, I personally couldn't tell you what the difference is. I don't remember any yellow on it, but it did have some nice tube work.

    Ms. conceptions motor sports

JR saved my sorry axle so I could go to EJS. He fixed it fast and for a very fair price. I would recommend him to anyone. BTW -- he had a bad ass SAS Rodeo (!!) in his shop while I was there, 44's, Teralow, ARB's, 37's and some really nice tube work JR did.
