Just wondering what might be causing this... thermostat? head gasket? what else? The coolant in the reservoir gets so hot that it starts boiling and coming out the vent in the reservoir lid... any suggestions??

Well, I spent my day off today building a skid plate for my Samurai... I used 2 pieces of 1 1/2 " square tubing (1/4" wall) and a piece of 1/4" steel plate. I put the square tubing under the frame rails on each side and I welded the steel plate to the square tubing. The whole thing is held up...

Ok is it possible to have a draglink with a suzuki end on one side and a toyota end on the other. The reason I ask is cause my pitman arm is suzuki size, and now my steering arms are toyota. Would I be better off just drilling the pitman arm hole a little bit larger :confused:

Well, I just returned from my first trip ever to the Rubicon trail, and I had a blast... We started from the Tahoe side and finished the trail at Loon lake. What an awesome trail! I was very impressed with the scenery and also with how tough the trail was. Here's a quick damage report...

what is the difference in the rear-ends between say an 85 toyota 4x2 truck and an 85 toyota 4x4 truck?? i was looking for a toyota rearend to swap into my samurai at picknpull today and all they had were 4x2 toy trucks, so i was wondering if i could use the rearend out of a two wheel drive...
